Bobbin Case Wear - If your bobbin thread keeps coming to the top, check your bobbin cases for lint under the springs. The lint can be cleaned out by sliding the end of a business card under the spring. If that doesn't help, consider replacing your your bobbin cases. They do wear out and fail to hold tension after you have made adjustments. Bobbin cases should be replaced after about 1000 hours of run time. This means if you run an 8 hour shift, you should change your bobbin cases every 6 months.
